Export workflow: preview to final image

A practical Sequence Pro workflow for importing video, refining frames, composing layers, and exporting a consistent contact sheet from the selected video.

Updated Apr 30, 2026

This is the main production loop in Sequence Pro.

What it is

A selection-based workflow where you add one or more videos, choose the current video, tune and compose against that selected item, then export the current sheet.

Why it matters

  • You can keep a repeatable composition while moving through sources one at a time.
  • Export behavior stays predictable because output settings are explicit.
  • The same canvas-based renderer is used for final export output.

How it works in Sequence Pro

  1. Add a video, or add several videos you want to review in the same session.
  2. Select the video you want to work on.
  3. Set extraction, arrangement, and timestamp options.
  4. Tune key moments in frame tuning.
  5. Compose text elements and watermarks.
  6. Export the selected video.

Notes for reliable exports

  • Set a default output folder to reduce prompts during repeated selected-video exports.
  • If results are too dense, reduce frame count or increase spacing before exporting.
  • Review the canvas before export so the saved image matches the composition you approved.
